  • Stevens’ programs are targeted broadly at professionals across the whole of the pharmaceutical industry whose jobs require that they manage functions that use technology extensively. This encompasses most of the functional areas in today’s pharmaceutical companies and includes areas such as discovery research, clinical research and operations, regulatory affairs (especially those areas involved in the compilation and publication of submissions), market research and QA. Individuals in contract research organizations (CROs), contract laboratories, consulting firms and other businesses that supply services to the pharmaceutical industry will also find the program of interest.

Program Overview

4 Programs to choose from:

Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical Management

The Pharmaceutical graduate certificate program consists of four, 3-credit courses. The three core courses cover the pharmaceutical value chain and focus on the purpose, function, interrelationship and strategic management of these areas.

Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership and Management

This 4-course graduate program presents realistic strategies in an array of critical areas for healthcare management and leadership. Course content, graded assignments and class discourse are all designed to provide readily-usable systems and strategies for the everyday challenges of healthcare management and leadership.

Master of Science in Managemen

The MS in management consists of twelve, 3-credit courses including the four certificate courses. The program integrates eight core courses in fundamental business disciplines, such as accounting, finance and economics, with four concentration core courses specific to the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Master of Business Administration

The MBA requires 20, 3-credit courses including seven pharmaceutical management major courses. Students who have acquired their MS in management degree under the pharmaceutical management concentration have the advantage of continuing on to get their MBA with just eight more additional courses.
