Technology Management Program

The Technology Management program for Experienced Professionals has a number of unique design features and advantages that distinguish it from other programs of this type.

 

The core of the program is the nationally recognized Master of Technology Management for Experienced Professionals (EMTM). This award winning, 43-credit, lock-step program provides you with the fundamental skills and tools required to manage technology-driven businesses effectively. The program was developed under the auspices of the Stevens Alliance for Technology Management (SATM), and involved a number of prominent New Jersey-based companies. Students graduate from the EMTM program with a Master of Technology Management degree.

 

Following completion of the EMTM component of the program, students can elect to continue their studies towards the MBA in Technology Management degree in the five-course EMBA Extension Program for a total of 58 credits. The five courses complement the skills developed in the EMTM program, broadening competence in functional business management, principally finance, as well as other disciplines, such as managerial decision making.

Both programs are designed for experienced professionals wishing to move to a broader role in technology and business management.
The EMBA-TM program encompasses the EMTM curriculum, augmenting it with additional courses that enhance skills in business management.

EMTM
Part-time students. 43-credits
Degree Conferred: Master of Technology Management
(Courses apply towards the MBA in TM degree)

Undergraduate degree in a relevant technical discipline (or equivalent), plus at least 5 years work experience in a technology - related field. Management experience is preferred but is not a requirement.

EMBA-TM
Part-time students. 58-credits
Degree Conferred: Master of Business Administration in Technology Management
