Flex MBA in Technology Management ProgramThe hallmark of our Flex MBA in Technology Management program is its FLEXIBLE design features, which enable you to individually tailor your degree to meet your specific career objectives at a pace that you define. Specific attributes include: Part-Time/Full-Time OptionsBy taking courses in the evening, you don't have to interrupt your career to obtain your degree. Part-time students can complete their MBA in TM degree in as little as three years. Alternatively, you may choose to accelerate your passage through the program by opting for full-time status, which enables you to obtain your degree in as little as two years. CurriculumBuilding on a common business core of 10 courses (30 credits), the MBA in Technology Management program offers a broad range of concentrations or majors that provide in-depth focus on specific areas of study, augmented by additional breadth courses that broaden competence in select areas. We currently offer eleven (11) majors encompassing a wide range of disciplines and industries. You can thus design a course of study that truly meets your career objectives. ScheduleCourses are offered on weekday evenings on the Stevens campus during the Spring, Fall and Summer semesters enabling you to choose a schedule that fits best with your personal and professional commitments. A limited number of courses are available on Saturdays. Many of the courses are also available on-line. This option is particularly suited to students who live outside the immediate area, or live out of State. Students interested in the on-line option should consult WebCampus for course offerings/availability. Entry GuidelinesStudents typically join the MBA program at the beginning of their course of study and proceed through the 20-course sequence outlined in the study plan of their chosen major. The course schedule is such that students can begin the program in any semester - fall, spring or summer.
Applications are also encouraged from Howe School M.S. graduates (Alumni) who now have the opportunity to extend their Master's degree to a MBA in Technology Management. The minimum number of additional courses that you will be required to take is eight (8) corresponding to 24 credits. Please consult the corresponding guidelines for information on procedures and construction of your study plan.
Note: Only the courses comprising your 36-credit Master's program count towards the MBA. Any additional graduate courses that you have taken may still be considered, but not until you have been admitted to the MBA program, and then only with the approval of your advisor.
Dual MS/MBA in TMStevens offers a dual degree option which enables students to graduate with both a Howe School M.S. degree AND a MBA in Technology Management degree. The combination of M.S. and MBA-TM courses provides in-depth preparation of graduates wishing to assume either general management, or technology-related managerial positions in organizations.
