Stevens Institute of Technology

Paris

EPITA (Ecole Pour l'Informatique et les Techniques Avancees) and Stevens Institute of Technology offer a joint Master's program where students can concurrently pursue EPITA's Graduate Engineering Degree and Stevens' Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) in less time than it would take to earn the degrees independently. By transferring the credit for equivalent courses, students can earn almost half the credits of their MSIS through the EPITA graduate program. The rest of the credits can be obtained in the United States in one year. After graduation, students are allowed to stay for optional practical training.

This successful program, that combines the strengths of both universities, is the result of the special relationship existing between the two institutes for over 15 years. The MSIS has been ranked 5th by the American press. Stevens is a major and prestigious American university situated on the banks of the Hudson River, opposite Manhattan, at Hoboken (New Jersey).

In 2007, Stevens courses for the Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) were delivered at EPITA. The program is identical to the one at the Hoboken campus, with all courses in English and taught by Stevens' faculty hosted at EPITA.

Masters of Science in Information Systems (Computer Science Concentration) Program

Stevens' Faculty conducts/teaches the following courses:

 1) MIS750 Management of IT Organizations
 2) MIS760 IT Strategy
 3) MIS710 Process Innovation and Management
 4) MIS730 Integrating IS Technologies
 5) MGT609 Introduction to Project Management
 6) MGT623 Financial Management
 7) MGT680 Organization Behavior and Theory

Students will transfer the credit for five Computer Science courses taught by EPITA' Faculty, that are equivalent to Stevens Computer Science courses.

Admission to the MSIS program requires a bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business with at least a B average from an accredited college or university.
