General Management

The educational goal of the General Management Graduate Certificate is to learn the foundations of the language of business (accounting), the way that organizations actually operate (organization theory), the way that businesses deliver value to customers (marketing) and the techniques of leadership.

Curriculum

With this set of courses, students will gain knowledge of how an enterprise operates and creates value.</curriculum>

• MGT 600 Managerial Accounting (pre-requisite MGT 503 Microeconomics or equivalent)
• MGT 690 Designing Complex Organizations
• MGT 641 Marketing Management (pre-requisite MGT 600)
• MGT 612 The Human Side of Project Leadership

Master of Science in Management

Stevens will grant a Master of Science in Management with concentration in General Management   (MSM/GM) degree after the successful completion of eight additional graduate courses, in addition to the four courses for the GC/EM.
