IT for Financial Services

Stevens is offering a unique program for the IT professional in the Financial Services Industry. Each of the financial services courses is organized around the Financial Services value chain. Students learn the "theory of the business" and the role of IT in the business. Organizational, management and information technology issues and considerations related to the financial services industry are explored.

Curriculum

The program includes content addressing IT proefssionals who are currently employed in or have a desire to enter the financial services induatry, and employees of software companies and consulting firms that serve the financial services industry.

Four courses are required for the Graduate Certificate in Financial Services

• MIS 681 Financial Services Industry Trends and Issues

• MIS 683 Financial Services Industry Back Office
  
• MIS 684 Financial Services Industry Marketing and Sales

Master of Science in Information Systems

Stevens will grant a Master of Science in Information System with concentration in Financial Services  (MSIS/FS) degree after the successful completion of eight additional graduate courses, in addition to the four courses for the GC/FS.
