These generic study plans serve as a guide for each major. In the event that you need to modify the plan to accommodate course waivers, substitutions, etc., you will need formal permission from your advisor.

To complete your study plan, first print the generic plan for your chosen major from the  list above. Fill in the form to the extent that you can with your proposed schedule. Please consult the perpetual calendar for course availability in the MBA core. Schedules for courses in the individual majors can be found under the respective web pages for the corresponding MS programs. Sign the study plan and forward to your advisor.

Next, contact your advisor by phone, email, or in person to discuss your plan. Once the study plan has been finalized, your advisor will sign the form and forward it to the Registrar's Office with a copy to you. You must obtain approval from your advisor before selecting your elective(s). That is especially important if selecting a career option in Information Systems or Technology Management.

Note: If you are applying to the MBA program as a past graduate of the Howe school, or as a current MS student wishing to switch to the MBA program, you should consult the corresponding guidelines for information on the process and construction of your study plan.

It is not necessary to decide on your elective(s) immediately. Please note also that some courses have prerequisites. These are noted in the Graduate School Catalog
