Healthcare Information Technology Management

Concentration in MSIS degree program offered by the Howe School of Technology Management to provide students with a breadth of knowledge about healthcare information technology (HIT) for healthcare delivery within the complex context of the U.S. healthcare system, including patient-centered eHealth programs.


Objective: To address the need for in-depth courses on HIT topics specific to the complex healthcare industry.

Audience: IT professionals and healthcare professionals seeking graduate-level coursework in HIT topics, as part of a Master’s degree. (The four new courses also result in a Graduate Certificate .)


Business/Information Technology Foundation
In addition to the twelve required courses, one or all of the following non-credit foundation courses may be required to begin the program:
