The Information Management concentration focuses on management skills and the knowledge required to make efficient use of information in the organization. Today, more than ever, there is a pressing need for information systems that effectively support the strategic objectives of the organization. Consequently, the individuals creating and managing such systems have to be much more familiar with the business side of their organization than was necessary in the past.
