The Pharmaceutical Management concentration combines courses in fundamental business disciplines, such as accounting, finance, and economics, with courses that provide an overview of functional management areas specific to the Pharmaceutical Industry. These functional areas include discovery research, clinical research and operations, regulatory affairs (especially those areas involved in the compilation and publication of submissions), market research and QA. Individuals in contract research organizations (CROs), contract laboratories, consulting firms and other businesses that supply services to the pharmaceutical industry will also find the program of interest. It also applies to those charged with sourcing and protecting technology.
