TICE: Technology Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship

Does the management of research & development play an important role in your company’s success?  Is innovation important?  Are you under pressure to launch successful new products or services?  Is corporate entrepreneurship / intrapreneurship in your future?

Our TICE programs are designed from the ground up to equip you or your people with the knowledge, skills, and mindset to successfully lead your company’s initiatives in those very areas.  We offer focused masters degree and non-degree certificate programs with concentrations in:

  • New Product & Services Innovation & Development
  • Corporate Entrepreneurship & Innovation
  • Technology Startups & Entrepreneurship
  • Advising Innovators & Entrepreneurs


Masters degree students select their concentration and take two sets of courses: foundation courses that are common to all five concentrations, and concentration-specific courses.  Students who pursue a non-degree certificate take the specialized courses listed below.  They have the option of applying their coursework to the corresponding masters degree if they decide to continue their education.

Technology Startups & Entrepreneurship

Advising Innovators & Entrepreneurs

Target Audience: Advisors & consultants such as attorneys and accountants

Foundation for all Concentrations

  • Competitive business strategy (1st course taken by all students: degree & certificate)

  • Disruptive technologies: identification, screening & assessment
  • Technology & innovation strategy capstone (last course taken by degree students)
