MIS 688 Patient-centered e-Health Systems

Overview
The impacts of widespread Internet use and Web 2.0 applications. Hospital-sponsored patient portals and 3rd-party personal health records (PHRs). Tele-health applications for diagnoses, disease monitoring, and behavior modification. Emerging trends in multimedia and AI tools for patient-centered programs. “Best practices” for online patient communications and home health monitoring.
