Stevens Project Management has a long history of success. The first project management course was offered in 1986. The Stevens Graduate Certificate program was established in 1997. Stevens Project Management degrees and courses are accredited by PMI, the Project Management Institute and GAC, the Global Accreditation Center for Project Management. Stevens was only the third university worldwide to receive this distinction when it was accredited in 2004. Stevens maintains a significant leadership role in project management education and research.


Leading Edge PM Research and Teaching

The Stevens faculty is renown worldwide for its research and teaching. Many faculty members have doctorate or masters degrees, have been project management practitioners and have earned their PMP Certification from PMI. Research grants have been received from PMI, NSF and NASA. Stevens has awarded over 500 Graduate Certificates in Project Management. This amounts to almost 100,000 hours of project management education. Stevens will award another 100 certificates in 2008.


Worldwide Project Management

Students can take courses on-campus, off-campus and/or online on the award with Stevens WebCampus. With the addition of face-to-face classes in Paris, France; Bulgaria; Beijing, China; the Dominican Republic; India; and WebCampus classes. Stevens Project Management program now reaches a worldwide audience. An Academic Advisor is assigned to help each student develop their personal Study Plan.
