MGT 611
Project Planning and Monitoring
Covers formalized procedures, tools and
techniques used in conceptual and detailed planning of the project. A
work breakdown structure (WBS) is developed to serve as the foundation
for estimating, monitoring, and controlling the project's cost and
duration. The use of project data to monitor and to evaluate project
progress is analyzed. Emphasis is placed upon identifying deviations
from the plan that require corrective actions to be initiated.
