Service Management

The United States, and indeed the global economy, has moved from a goods producing economy to a services producing economy. The Howe School of Technology Management in collaboration with the School of Systems and Enterprise have created a unique Service Management program to address the services market and provide students with the skills to meet the needs of today and tomorrow. The Service Management program is a multi-disciplinary program, drawing from Information Systems, System Engineering, Management Science and Engineering.

Project Management

Stevens is the 3rd university in the world to have its curriculum accredited by PMI (Project Management Institute). Improve on the job  performance, set realistic schedules, ensure predictable  cost and product delivery, establish a dependable project control and  monitoring system. Our award-winning Project Management team is renowned for cutting-edge research in the area of project management strategy receiving grants from PMI, NSA and the NASA Center for Project Management.

Pharmaceutical Management

This program is designed to develop a Cross-Industry Manager. A manager who sees the big picture and has a comprehensive understanding of all areas of the pharmaceutical industry. Managers who are more effective in their positions because they understand how their own area applies, relates to, and affects the entire value chain, from drug discovery to market. They can also sit across the table from a group with a different function and speak their language.

This Cross-Industry Curriculum includes in-depth courses in: Managing Pharmaceutical R&D; Regulation and Compliance; Pharmaceutical Technology & Innovation Management; Sales, Marketing & the Supply Chain; and Manufacturing. These industry specific courses attract professionals from every area of the pharmaceutical industry.

Communications Technology Management

Whether you are in pharmaceuticals, financial services, retail, or other communications services that direct to end users – the success of your company is increasingly tied to the availability, security, and efficiency of your network. Today’s communication issues require managers who possess both an understanding of the technology and business strategy of networking solutions. Our inter-disciplinary program provides both.

EMTM (Master's of Technology Management for Experienced Professionals)

A Master's in Technology Management degree, for Experienced Professionals, focuses on preparing you to integrate both business and technology in a world where constant innovation and adoption of new technologies is crucial for you and your company to succeed and stay competitive. Information Systems

Rapid advances in technology, dynamic markets, and the changing business environment have created increased demand for professionals who can manage and deliver information systems. This demand has been accelerated by new competition, shorter product life cycles, outsourcing, and more complex and specialized markets. Information systems professionals are required to lead and evolve information resources while partnering with corporate management.

To meet an increasing need for professionals with the experience necessary to enable these important functions, Stevens offers a multi-track Master of Science program to help achieve your IT career objectives. In addition to strong practical, real-world IT and management skills, graduate of the program leave with improved communication, interpersonal, and team skills.

Management

Managers today face increasingly complex situations in an environment of rapid change. The Management programs of the Howe School are designed to provide working professionals with the rigorous analytic tools and conceptual frameworks that enable the successful practice of management in this challenging era.

Our management education builds on foundational disciplines of accounting, organization and enterprise, economics, and statistics. In addition to these traditional areas, this degree includes coursework in project management as well as technology and innovation management. Learning to think in this variety of disciplines serves the purpose of developing critical reasoning and judgment, which are central to the practice of ethical management. Each student selects concentration studies from one of the 6 choices.
