As part of a team of workflow and BPM standards experts, Dr. Michael zur Muehlen delivered a series of lectures on the business value of Business Process Management
and related standards in Tokyo, Taipei, and Singapore. During the week-long Asia tour, representatives of the Workflow Management Coalition worked together with local organizers to conduct a series of full-day seminars that provided attendees with an overview of the emerging landscape of process management standards and their application in practice.

Keith Swenson (Fujitsu), Robert Shapiro (Global 360), Yoshihiro Sadakane (NEC), Justin Brunt (Tibco), Ken Mei (Global 360) and Michael zur Muehlen (Stevens Institute of Technology) were greeted by a sell-out crowd in Taipei, where the lectures were organized by Flowring Technology. More than 150 people from various industries, including IT, manufacturing, government and academic institutions, participated the event. In Tokyo the Japanese BPM Association organized the event. Within one year of its foundation the Association has grown to a membership of 7,000 - a testament to the interest in process improvement in Japan. The final tutorial took place in Singapore, where Bizmann provided generous support for the presenters on the ground.
