Mr. Thompson serves as a Vice President and Technical Director for Telvent Farradyne Inc. He has been a member of the Farradyne team for over 15 years. Mr. Thompson is a registered professional engineer and graduate of the University of Minnesota with over 25 years of experience in developing and managing Intelligent Transportation System projects. He is responsible for the Telvent Farradyne’s IT department and the development of products such as the advance traffic management systems - MIST systems, SmartNET, TRANSMIT, Customer Service Center, TRACE - Air Quality Tool. Mr. Thompson has extensive experience in delivering and integrating high tech solutions to manage traffic congestion ranging from requirements/design, communications and hardware/software aspects of projects for governmental agencies.
