Experience & Service

General Information
Prior to joining Stevens, Bob spent thirty years in industry at Philips Electronics, Verizon and Hoechst. He initially worked as a bench scientist and then as a research manager in the area of solid state materials and devices, lasers and non-linear optics. His involvement in research management led to an interest in the business side of technical companies and he went to Hoechst were he was an internal consultant, strategist, sales team manager, general manager of a developing high performance plastic parts business and global marketing manager of a German/American/Japanese joint venture. He has worked in the electronics, telecommunications and chemical and engineering resins industries.
