The Howe School conducts applied research in a number of areas that support the mission of the school and the University s theme of Technogenesis. Applied research focuses on understanding and developing solutions for practice-oriented problems in areas that are of relatively immediate interest to a real-world entity such as a business, a government agency, or a branch of the armed services.
