2005 Roundtable April

SATM Roundtable Meeting Announcement
April 19, 2005

Following a successful kick-off meeting in February, where the group began a comprehensive examination of the general theme of innovation, the Alliance will continue the series with a Roundtable meeting on Tuesday, April 19th from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at ISO in Jersey City, NJ. The topic, based upon Sponsors' feedback, is:

Turning Innovation into a Powerful Business Strategy
2 ) Leadership for Innovation

Key questions to be considered include:

  • What are the overarching roles/responsibilities of leaders with regard to innovation?
  • What are the specific roles of leaders in each phase of the innovation process?
  • In what ways do leaders most importantly impact or shape a culture of innovation?

Anthony (Tony) Le Storti, former director of the Center for Creative Studies and principal at IDEATECTS, Inc., will continue as our primary facilitator. Tony facilitated the February Roundtable and was given excellent reviews for his relevant experience, knowledge and meeting leadership. In addition, the discussion will be enhanced by inputs and comments from Geza Pap, Chief Portfolio Management, ARDEC. Additionally, I have asked specific individuals to come prepared with their observations and knowledge of the subject. In fact, all attendees should please come prepared with insights concerning Leadership as related to innovation so that we can, as usual, have a meaningful and participatory Roundtable meeting.

Driving and parking directions to ISO will follow. Dress code, as usual, is business casual. Please let Sharen Glennon (sglennon@stevens.edu or 201-216-5381) know the names of attendees.
