Roundtable Meeting Announcement

Turning Innovation into a Powerful Business Strategy:
4) Overcoming the Obstacles to Innovation, continued

The September SATM Roundtable meeting will continue our 2005 series on innovation by further exploring the subject of overcoming barriers to innovation. At the July Roundtable, the group held a vigorous and productive discussion on this topic, and consequently decided to extend it. We will continue to have discussion leaders from Sponsors who have direct experience with implementing innovation programs. The topic is timely and meaty, with a lot of experience to be shared. For those of you who were unable to attend the July session, I advise reading the meeting Takeaways that were sent earlier. (Please contact Sharen Glennon -- sglennon@stevens.edu or 201-216-5381 -- if you would like another copy sent).

For the first facilitator we are pleased to have Ron Eilertson of Teknor Apex, who will complete the presentation he began at the last meeting. The Teknor Apex experience embodies lots of lessons, and Ron will focus on these. He will be followed by Jason Brito and Luis Barbier of ISO, which has recently put new emphasis on its innovation activity. Based on our experience with preceding meetings in this series, the September session promises to be of great value and we urge full Sponsor participation.

The meeting will be held at DRS Corporate Headquarters, 5 Sylvan Way, Parsippany, NJ. Directions will be sent with the Roundtable reminder announcement. Dress code is business casual. Please let Sharen Glennon know the names of attendees.
