Your admission letter contains important information including the name and contact information of your academic advisor. The letter may also have information under the title "Academic Requirements" (lower part of the second page). Anything required here has been determined during your admission process and you must fulfill these requirements.

On-Campus Evening Students

At some point during the first semester, you will need to develop a study plan listing the courses that you must take to obtain your degree together with the anticipated semester in which you will take these courses. The study plans may be accessed from the home page of the program in which you are enrolled. Note that you do not need to complete a study plan before you register for your first classes.

Saturday and Off-Campus Students

If you are attending classes on Saturdays, at a corporate-sponsored location, or at another off-campus location the procedures and schedules are specialized to the particular program and location in which you are enrolled. The primary difference is that your program is "lock step." This means you will stay with the same group of students and take all your classes together and in a pre-set sequence. In most cases, you will not have to do anything before you attend your first class. You do not have to contact your faculty advisor unless you have a special situation that is an exception from the normal process. As a result of the lock-step nature of the program, you will not need to create an individual study plan. A standard study plan will be given to you in your first class.

Class Schedules

A "Perpetual Calendar" giving the semesters and times at which each class is scheduled is available at the home page in which you are enrolled. In any given semester, the actual courses offered may differ from those in the Perpetual Calendar.  To register for graduate program cources, click HERE.

Undergraduate Students

Congratulations on your acceptance into the Business and Technology Program within the Howe School. During orientation week that occurs immediately before the first week of classes in late-August, you will be assigned a faculty member who will serve as your advisor and mentor as you go through your four-year Business and Technology Program. Your faculty advisor will be able to answer many of the questions you may have and you will meet him/her during orientation week.

Class schedule

As the Business & Technology Program is "lock step", meaning that you will be taking your classes in a pre-set sequence, you will be registered automatically during orientation week for the fall classes that are required. You will also receive your class schedule during orientation week, as well as have many other issues addressed such as student housing, campus life, dining alternatives, the Stevens Honor System, and so forth.

However, should you have any questions or other issues you need to address prior to orientation week, you should contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions (201-216-5194).
